South Wexford Bee Keeping Association

SWBKA Heritage Keepers decided to complete a project recording the stories and memories of Wexford beekeeping from past to present with a focus on biodiversity and heritage. A local historian Michael Fortune agreed to take on the project and they looked at their own association for participants and put out a call for people who might have interesting stories to tell. On the 10th May the interviews were held with 11 eventual participants in the grand gardens at Johnstown Castle (Irish Heritage Trust).
