After a heritage field trip to Enniscorthy, the Heritage Keepers organised the Dunhill Place Day. It was a huge success and surpassed all expectations. The day began with the official opening of an old 18 th century Well in the village which had been walled and roofed with an information board erected beside it. The attendance then moved into a restored schoolhouse which is the parish hall. The Place Day promotion included 22 exhibitions from different voluntary groups promoting their History and the heritage of Dunhill. Each group were allocated a table with back on which were hung, displayed related materials, maps, banners, artefacts etc.
